1881, Sep 13 Sank schooner C.K. NIMS on Lake Erie.

1882, May 25 Rammed by schooner C.B. BENSON.

1882, Jun 1 Repaired.

1883 Reduced to tow barge; towed by IRON CHIEF; largest cargoes 1,959 tons coal to Duluth, MN; 100,000 bushels wheat from Chicago, IL.

1884 Towed by IRON DUKE for Ohio Central Coal contract.

1885 Part of Wilson fleet taking coal Lake Erie - Duluth; towed by propeller GEORGE SPENCER.
