Description
Bobby Rigg started playing drums under the tutelage of his dad Tubby Rigg, then played drums at St. Bernard's and in the City Band. Enamored by the sounds of rock and roll, he formed the band The Chevelles with Ralph Pinkerton, Donny Hartman and Jack Smolinski. Their success in the Saginaw area led to a regular spot at Daniel's Den, a popular teen night club, and to the formation of the band, Frost. Bobby shares stories from the early days when his mom sewed matching outfits for The Chevelles; the Frost's performances at Detroit's Grande Ballroom and performances around the country and Canada; and his present contribution to the music scene in Alpena.
