    Alpena Power Company's Norway Point Dam (aka Seven Mile Dam) across the Thunder Bay River in Alpena County, Michigan during late construction. Built 1923-1924 as an electrical plant and to control Spring flooding.

    Chisholm Street Bridge. This bridge was damaged during a Spring flood in 1923, but not rebuilt until 1932 when it was renamed the George Washington Memorial Bridge. Note the logs in the Thunder Bay River, which were being moved to the sawmills at the mouth of the river.
